In 2015, the City of Mesquite, Texas, passed a $125 million street bond to repair residential streets. After concerns were raised by citizens, the city hired architectural and engineering consulting firm CP&Y to evaluate the reconstruction process. CP&Y asked Transtec to do a peer review of their evaluation report.
We reviewed the report and provided comments and recommendations to improve the rehabilitation process. We also attended a Mesquite City Council meeting to assist the Public Works director with any technical questions brought up by the council.
